After Studying BTEC Performing Arts at Southport College, Michael went onto study at the University of Cumbria, graduating with a BA Joint (Hons) in Dance Performance & Musical Theatre Performance. Since graduating he has built up a diverse CV, with professional Musical Theatre and Dance credits to his name, including dance performances across many prestigious theatres throughout the UK and Europe.
Michael went onto study at Edge Hill University graduating with a PGCE.
He has had vast experience in Dance, Drama & Musical Theatre curriculum's with a demonstrable track record in both areas.
He has taught the arts all over the UK, Including Programme Leader of dance at Leicester College. Currently Michael is now head Dance leader at Southport performing arts.
Kelly is now back in the UK wanting to pass on all of her professional dance knowledge, providing fun & energetic dance classes. With years of experience; dancing on MTV Awards, major cruise lines, tours and Bollywood movies. Having teaching experiences from all over the world has inspired Kelly to come back to her local community to encourage children and strengthen their confidence, discover & recognise their own talents and abilities whilst gaining more knowledge of the benefits of a healthier balanced lifestyle.
Leah Griffiths trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama (Liverpool) were she received her Higher National Diploma and L.A.M.D.A certificates. Leah has been dancing professionally and teaching for the last 10 years in many prestigious venues across the UK, one being John Bishops arena tour. Leah has toured worldwide with her dancing in places such as India where she performed in music videos, films, live shows and continued to perform within theatre tours in Germany and Austria.
Leah is really excited to be working at Connect Studios where she will be teaching Salsa, Samba and Hip-hop
Glenda Hill is a professionally qualified and registered ISTD teacher. She studied extensively at Salford University and Preston College Dance Centre, studying all aspects of Theatre Arts.
Since graduating she taught at various dance and drama schools throughout the North-West and choreographed for professional theatre companies before founding Glenda Hill Theatreworks in 1996. With Theatreworks she choreographed and produced countless theatre productions and entered students for hundreds of ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern qualifications with excellent results. Glenda takes pride in assisting students to gain confidence in all aspects of life not just their dance/theatre studies.
In 2018 she moved away from Theatreworks to pursue other career opportunities and challenges. She is now an Agent for Cheshire Talent working with Children and Adults creating audition opportunities in Theatre, Film and TV. As well as working closely with dance and drama schools in assisting them with the development and growth of their business. Glenda is also proud to be asked to regularly adjudicate at UKDCC events.
Glenda feels very honoured to have been asked to work with the students at Connect Studios and looks forward to working with the principals in developing the examination department.

The 32-year-old former ABA finalist has joined the Everton Red Triangle team after a short but successful amateur stint and turned professional in Boxing under Paul Stevenson in 2019. Carly Skelly is the proud sister of our principal Michael who was born and raised in Seaforth too. (A local woman helping to create changes and inspiring others in the community)
Carly has a fantastic work ethic, balancing her lifestyle as a paediatric nurse, mum of two wonderful boys and training as professional athlete.
Carly is delighted to be a part of Connect Studios, offering classes in Fitness & Boxercise. Carly works with everyone’s individual needs and levels to create fun & high energy classes. All classes focus on helping the person train in the correct ways, help to lose weight and to become a healthier person.
Carly is happy to offer advice and answer any questions around your training or any lifestyle changes.

Our administration & marketing staff at Connect Studios work to sustain the demands of the dance industry and continue to help grow many aspects of the business. Joanne is our leading lady front of house, she is our main contact for information, a helpful source of support for all our students and to other users at our studios. Joanne will assist you with any queries you may have and will do anything to find the answer for you.
Lauren is our marketing strategist focusing on all social media platforms developing the presence of Connect Studios. Lauren continues to work on developing marketing strategies to stay ahead of the game to help Connect Studios grow. We also have our apprentice Mia who has been a student with us since day one, Mia supports both Joanne & Lauren in administration and marketing and is continuing to develop her skills whilst training at Connect Studios.
